Esoteric rigour

Every card carries its real Thoth attributions — Hebrew letter, path on the Tree of Life, decan, sephira — and is read on several levels. Neighbouring cards modulate each other through Crowley's elemental dignities; in the Simple Cross the synthesis is computed by theosophical addition, as Oswald Wirth taught.

The deck is shuffled and sealed with a cryptographic hash before you choose: at the end of the reading you can verify that no card was changed after your choice.

An AI reading, coherent and rigorous on the esoteric level. It is not a certainty: it shows the most probable of futures. There is no scientific evidence that tarot predictions are valid.

Is an AI tarot reading accurate?

A tarot reading is a tool for reflection, not a prediction you can verify. What the AI adds is method: it asks about your question first, reads each card in its position with the traditional correspondences of the Thoth Tarot, and links the cards into one coherent interpretation. It does not know your future, and it will not tell you what to do about health, money or legal matters.

What is the Thoth Tarot?

The Thoth Tarot is a 78-card deck designed by Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Frieda Harris between 1938 and 1943. It grew out of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, whose system maps every card to the Hebrew alphabet, a path on the Tree of Life, an element and an astrological attribution. That is why a reading here is more than a list of card meanings: each card is read with its own correspondences, in its position in the spread, and the cards are read in relation to one another.

Is the tarot reading free?

What is the difference between the Thoth Tarot and the Rider-Waite tarot?

Both have 78 cards. The Rider-Waite deck is built on scenes and is the usual starting point for beginners. The Thoth deck is built on the Golden Dawn correspondences and on Crowley's symbolism: it renames several cards (Strength becomes Lust, Justice becomes Adjustment, Temperance becomes Art) and it is usually read without reversed cards.

Can I choose the spread?

Yes. There are classic spreads such as the Celtic Cross, the horseshoe and the three-card spread, and there are spreads for compatibility and for relationships.
